South Lake Tahoe AYSO Region 282 is based in South Lake Tahoe, California.
 
Our region administers recreational Fall soccer programming for children ages 4-14.  We also have development programs in the Fall and Spring for children interested in a more competitive environment, while still focusing on the 6 core AYSO principles of:

Everyone Plays, Balanced Teams, Open Registration, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship, Player Development
 
South Lake Tahoe AYSO relies on volunteers for its operation, including our board members.  If you participate in our program, please consider volunteering in order to improve your child’s experience.  Parent coaches, in particular, are vital at the grassroots level and we would be happy to talk to you about how to get involved.
 
It does not matter where you live in order to play soccer with AYSO.  Even though we are based in South Lake Tahoe, we serve our surrounding community.  American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) is not-for-profit, nationwide, and was founded in 1964.  AYSO’s National Office is headquartered in Torrance, California.
