Our Extra Development Program is the next step up from our Core Fall Program.  It is a Competitive program and allows kids who fall in love with the game the chance to develop further.

The Extra Development Program starts in October, when the best players in the U10 Division and above are chosen to form teams and enter a competitive environment called the All-Stars program.  All-Star teams compete in a tournament against other AYSO regions in our Area - those regions being Carson City, Bishop, Mammoth Lakes, Truckee, Incline Village, Dayton, Carson Valley and North Tahoe.

We break for the winter (December through the end of Feburary).

And then in March the Extra Development Program continues for U10 and above - those kids who are seeking more competitive development. These "Spring Select" teams are formed through a try-out process and play in a Toiyabe League with other regions in our area.  The Spring Select teams also enter competitive tournaments through April, May and June.

AYSO Extra still adheres to the six core AYSO values: Everyone Plays, Balanced Teams, Open Registration, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship and Player Development. These are the essence of AYSO and it all starts with Everyone Plays.
